TOURNAMENT CHARACTERISTICS
The tournament
is organized under the patronage of Greek futsal Committee. Our
intention is to organize a European dynamic tournament related to quality and
important for the development of futsal in Greece.
It is the third time that we are organizing the Athens Cup and it would be a
great
pleasure for us if you could participate. At the same time you can enjoy your
stay in
Greece next to the sea.
At these two past tournaments many teams have participated, such us: OPTIKA
MONOKL (Yugoslavia), IN TIME ARAMIS ( Hungary), ZYWIEK TRADE (Poland),
RIVAS ATLANTIS, QVO VENUS (Spain) ALSOS (Cyprus).
Date of the
tournament: 2nd –3rd June at the Vrilissia Sporthall
12 km
from center of the Athens.
Expenses per person per day: 15.000grd Total: 45.000grd/per person
Includes:
accommodation, full board, transfers, sightseeing, "Greek
night"
Accommodation:
Mati Hotel, only 28 km from the center of Athens. It is located in a
magnificent landscape next to the sea. Experience the warm Greek hospitality,
the
swimming pool, the small picturesque natural bays, with a wonderful view to the
island Euboea and above all the delicious home-made food.
Transfers:
Transfer from the airport to the hotel. All the transfers during the games
(hotel-sporthall). Transfer to the airport for the departure.
Sightseeing: Sunday morning with English speaking guide, sightseeing around old town of Athens.
Greek night:
Dinner and a party next to the swimming pool of the hotel.
Participants:
8 European teams, divided in 2 groups.

Friday 1st June : Arrival of the teams
Saturday 2nd June : qualification games
Group A : A1vA2, A3vA4 – A1vA3, A2vA4 – A1vA4,A2vA3
Group B: B1vB2, B3vB4 – B1vB3, B2vB4 – B1vB4, B2vB3
Sunday 3rd June : Semi- finals: 1st A v 2nd B – 1st B v 2nd A
Final
Monday 4th
June : Departure

winner of the tournament : the amount of 1.000.000grd
Also there are a
lot of gifts for the second and third winner of the tournament from
our sponsors UMBRO,KELME,DELIFRANCE, ORIFLAME.
We have send
invitations at teams from Russia, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain,
Portugal, Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Cyprus.
We will send you
the schedule of the tournament after you send us the application
form.
