England ended The FA Futsal Four Nations Tournament with a narrow defeat on Sunday, in what was a thrilling finale to the competition.

Lithuania were crowned as competition winners earlier in the day, after beating the Republic of Ireland by 3-1 to finish with three wins from their three games.

Peter Sturgess' team will feel pleased with their progress over the weekend though, after being held to a draw by Ireland in their opener on Friday before Lithuania turned them over on Saturday.

The match with Libya saw England score through Luke Ballinger and Thomas Obasi, but Libya responded with strikes from Rabie Abdelrahim, Mohamed Shahout and Mohamed Rahoma.

It was a thrilling game for the spectators and England will take plenty of positives out of the competition, with Ballinger finishing third in the Player Of The Tournament table, judged by representatives of The FA's Small Sided Committee.

Three Lions goalkeeper Dean Thornton was also voted as the Goalkeeper Of The Tournament.

Two development games also took place during Sunday and the results from those games are as follows:-

FC Barsa U14s 4-0 FC Barsa U13s

Tibberton United 1-8 University of Teesside
