Selection trials for RTM reality show today

Kota Kinabalu: The selection trials for the 2009 Jaguh Futsal RTM futsal reality television programme will be held at KK Futsal Arena, Jalan Pelabuhan, here today (Sunday).

Those aged below 25 years old and interested are welcomed to attend the trials from 9am-11am.

According to a statement Saturday, the final squad of 12 players to represent Sabah will be selected during the trials.

To be coached by former Sabah import Scott Ollerenshaw, the Sabah team will undergo training three times a week from Jan 20-Feb 10. They will then head to Penang for the National Championship on Feb 14 -15.

The Jaguh Futsal reality programme's main purpose is to discover new talent and expose these players to high level of competition. It will give a unique opportunity for players who normally do not have a chance to be identified from the futsal circuit.

This RTM programme, sanctioned by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), is sponsored by Figos Sports, 100 Plus and Sportswork.
