NDSL's indoor futsal module

The closing date for the NDSL 4 week Futsal module for teams Under 8 and Under 9 has been extended to close of business this Wednesday (January 7).

Application forms to be emailed to Vicky.fisher@fai.ie. The application form can also be found on www.ndsl.ie or www.fai.ie/futsal.

All clubs should please note the futsal module is filling up rapidly, so payment is required to ensure your teams place is kept.

Please forward €60 for Vicky's attention. Vicky Fisher, c/o FAI, National Sports Campus, Abbotstown, Dublin 15.(Cheque, bank draft or postal order).

There is an FAI FUTSAL workshop organised for all coaches/managers.

Date -- Wed 7th January

Venue -- Oscar Traynor Coaching & Development centre (NDSL HQ)

Time -- 7.30pm -- 9pm

Cost - Free

The workshop is primarily aimed at coaches/managers entering teams u8/u9 in the upcoming NDSL 4 week Futsal module but all are welcome.

Those entering the 4 week Futsal module will also receive their 2 free umbro futsal footballs on the night. Derek O'Neill, FAI National Futsal Co-ordinator, will host the workshop emphasizing the benefits of Futsal and the impact it can have.

Players such as Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Robinho and even the legendary Pele all started their playing careers by playing Futsal.

This is a great opportunity to start NDSL kids off on the right track from an early stage in their playing career
