Delahunty, who has spent time at Virginia Intermond College and Virginia Commonwealth University during his soccer scholarship in the United States, has started all five games this season for Kickers this season.
A former trainee at Swansea City and Bristol City,
the 24-year-old Waterman man has also emerged as a candidate for a call-up to the Republic of Ireland futsal side later this year.
Richmond Kickers Indoor Head Coach Kyle Lessig said: “Alan will be vital player for the team this winter. He has a great engine, quality touch on the ball and a good football brain.”
Kickers play in the Premier Arena Soccer League. Running from November until March, the PASL is the largest international indoor/arena soccer league in the world, with 54 teams in the United States.
