Aluserv Cinco Futsal 2008 round-up

2008 proved to be a very positive one for Aluserv Cinco Futsal. Apart
from being their first year in First Division Futsal, the team immediately established itself amongst the leaders and proved to be the revelation of the year.

Although they missed out on the championship title, Aluserv's remarkable performance was spelt out very clearly. Out of 22
competitive games played, Aluserv managed to win 16, losing only 2
games in 2007/08 preliminary round, 2 games in Championship playoffs
and 1 game in 2008/09 preliminary round.

The team also managed to remain unbeaten during the Knock Out
competition, thus leading them to acquire their first top award in Malta Futsal. Aluserv goalkeeper, Bjorn Vassallo was also voted MFA Futsal Player of the year.

Aluserv had the best goal difference during 2007-08, whilst this season, the team leads with the best goal scoring record.
