Boys-zone it’s the NDSL’s Futsal module!

The NDSL’s 4 week futsal module in Gormanston College got off to a flyer with even Ronan Keating lending his support! It was a Boys-zone affair with up to 400 schoolboys/girls taking part in an action packed day. Goals a plenty, skill in abundance it was a day to remember “no matter what”.

In a new venture by the NDSL, the benefits of the introduction of futsal into the playing calendar were there for all to see. No weather issues, comfortable surroundings, and more touches of the ball for the players.

NDSL Supremo, Liam Farrell had this to add “It’s a fantastic boost to have children playing this skilful form of football, particularly in the cold of winter when so many pitches fall foul to conditions. We are delighted with the feedback we have received and believe this type of game is going to have huge benefits for Irish youngsters”.
