PA Nova Gliwice has conquered the Polish Super Cup 2008/2009 by onvercoming Kupczyk Darkomp Krakow by 4-0. That was the third ever edition of the trophy, which went to Baustal Kraków in 2004 and to Clearex Chorzów in 2007. The balance was immediately broken by Maksym in favour of the national champions, but that scored lasted almost until the end of the match, with PA Nova Gliwice securing the win in the final minutes.
