Futsal final four ready for Saturday draw

The UEFA Futsal Cup final four contenders will discover their opposition when the semi-final draw is made at the Ekaterinburg Palace of Sport on Saturday.

Contenders
Hosts and holders MFK Viz-Sinara Ekaterinburg will be joined by Russian rivals MFK Dinamo Moskva, two-time winners Interviú Madrid and Kairat Almaty in the finals. The draw is scheduled to begin at 16.30 local time (12.30CET), following Ekaterinburg's Russian Super League fixture against TTG-Ugra Yugorsk in the venue for the final four. The semi-finals will be played on 24 April, with the final and third-place match held two days later.

Russian Cup final
Whether or not Dinamo and Ekaterinburg are drawn together, they will be meeting over two legs on 1 and 5 April in the Russian Futsal Cup final for the third year running. With league leaders Ekaterinburg already through, Dinamo travelled to MFK Tyumen 2-1 down but triumphed 7-3 in the second leg of their semi-final, Vladislav Shayakhmetov claiming a hat-trick. Last year, Shayakhmetov was an Ekaterinburg player when they lost the final to Dinamo, having previously beaten them in 2007. Meanwhile, Interviú are competing in the Spanish Cup finals in Granada over the next three days, starting with tonight's last-eight tie against Lobelle de Santiago FS.
