Troféu Cidade de São Paulo group A (composed of São Caetano/Corinthians/Unip, A.A.B.B./Segasp/ADC Alcan, Araçariguama Reflet, S.E.RCG/Garça and Medicina USP/Vita).
Corinthians needed a victory in order to lead the way alone, and could get its goal. Simi opened the score (
