Futsal: A fusion of basketball and football

MANDALUYONG CITY, Philippines--Unlike in most Asian countries, football is not a popular sport in the country. But local team IROK Philippines finished third in the women’s futsal (or indoor football) during the 2007 Southeast Asian Games, just behind Thailand and Vietnam.
