St Martins College team wins Futsal tournament for MSSF schools

The Malta Schools Sports Federation (MSSF) organised successfully a Futsal festival at St Martins College, Swatar for the under 13 age group (Form 2’s).

Twelve schools participated in this tournament among them St Catherine’s, San Adrea, San Anton, St Martins, St Aloysius College, St Michael’s Foundation, St Edwards, St Albert and St Patricks. A fun and challenging atmosphere was felt all throughout the festival and more than 120 boys participated.

The aim of this tournament is to gather boys from Church, Private and Independent schools together in a fun and sporting atmosphere.

The tournament was held in two phases. The first part had four teams in three groups. Then, the winner of each group played for the the first and third places, the runner up of each group playing for the 4th to the 6th place. The third of each group played for the 7th to the 9th place. After an exciting group final St Martins College emerged as winners
