Selangor Clinch RTM Futsal Title For Second Consecutive Year

Selangor emerged victorious in the "Jaguh Futsal RTM" reality programme after beating a gritty Pahang 3-2 in a penalty shootout at the Panasonic National Sports Complex here today.

The win, Selangor's second title in the competition, however did not come easy as Pahang forced the match to be decided by penalties after holding on to a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

"It was a close match. We knew Pahang would give us a tough fight but my boys were ready for the challenge," said Selangor coach Omar Ali after the prize presentation.

With the win, Selangor took home RM30,000 and a challenge trophy while Pahang received RM10,000.

However, all was not lost for Pahang as its coach Wan Suratman Adnan Wan Roslee walked away with the Best Coach of the Tournament award while Selangor's Mohd Akhmall Abdullah was crowned Best Player.

Both awards came with RM5,000 cash.
