Fiji Muslim League's National Sports Championship coordinator Mohammed Sareem said although no decision had been made yet, officials were contemplating taking action against Oceania Futsal's gold boot winner.
"We believe he should have played in this tournament," Sareem said.
He said a national team would be picked from the championship for the FANCA tournaments later in the year.
"We want to be fair on the players who took part in the competition."
After yesterday's quarter-finals, host Rewa was the first team to qualify for the semi-finals after edging Navua II 1-0.
Navua I lost the second quarter-final to Cuvu 7-6 on penalty shoot-outs.
Labasa was playing Varavu when this edition went to press and Nasinu was against Nadi in the last quarter-final.
