Shocking and sad news from Romania. The top division club City’US Targu Mures president Istvan Kiss passed away on past friday 24th April.

Istvan Kiss was born on 18 july 1949, in 1965 he conquered the Romanian Basketball National Championship in the Under 21 category.

Student at the Sport University of Bucharest between 1967-1971, he organized then all the futsal competitions in Targu Mures, both for professional players and amateur players.

As president of City’Us Targu Mures he won the Romanian Cup in 2008, while with the women soccer team he participated in the Romanian National Championship for many years.

Also he was till 2007 vicepresident of the Romanian Futsal Commitee.

Romanian and worldwide futsal lost a great person, a friend, a professional man in sport.

We will never forget him.
