Ardus is the winner of Uzbekistan futsal Cup 2009!Ardus futsal club from Tashkent won Uzbekistan futsal Cup 2009. This is the third trophy of Ardus in its ten-year history.
In the final Ardus played against Stroitel-Zarafshan - ruling futsal Champions of Uzbekistan. The latter team was the first to score in the match: goalkeeper Nikolay Kravchenko was helpless against Shuhrat Tojiboevs shot. In the second half metropolitan team straightened out the game and Dilshod Irsaliev completed a rapid combination and scored the equalizer. Five minutes to the end of the playing time Bakhodir Ahmedov again gives his team advantage. This time 30 seconds were enough for Ardus to equalize the score. Jamoliddin Sharipov was the striker.
In the extra time Ardus takes the lead for the first time after Farruh Farhutdinovs goal three minutes to the final whistle. But ever-active Tojiboev sends the deal to the penalty shots.
Being more accurate in the penalty shots Ardus got the Cup.
Uzbekistan is preparing for the AFC Futsal Championship 2010AFC Futsal Committee has chosen Tashkent as the host city of AFC Futsal Championship 2010. In 2006 Tashkent already hosted this prestigious competition and Uzbekistan national team reached the final then.
Organizers expect the host-team to perform no less better this time.
"Last time we organized the Championship on a very high level", - noted Jahangir Usmanov, Uzbekistan Futsal Associations official. Apart from this competition Uzbekistan and particularly Tashkent frequently host large-scale international sports events. Organizational matters will be on a respectable level. A new national futsal team is being formed now in Uzbekistan and it will mainly consist of young players with the view of 2012 when FIFA Futsal World Cup Qualifiers will take place.
Uzbek referee is being observed by FIFA Referee AssessorFIFA Referee Assessor Sadriddin Musawi from Iran visited Uzbekistan futsal Cup competitions in Tashkent and observed Shuhrat Pulatov, futsal referee from Uzbekistan. Musawi, who is selecting candidates for refereeing AFC Futsal Championship matches, participated in three FIFA Futsal World Cup competitions and now heads Futsal Referee Department at the AFC.
Bakhodir Ahmedov and Nikolay Odushev will join ArdusBakhodir Ahmedov and Nikolay Odushev, two leading players of the ruling Champion team Stroitel-Zarafshan, will leave the club and return to Tashkents Ardus.
In the new season both Uzbek futsal veterans will be playing for Ardus, where they won three times the local Championship title and twice the National Cup.
They are currently preparing with Stroitel-Zarafshan for the AFC Futsal Champions League, which will be held in early July in Isfahan, Iran.
