The news was already known since two weeks about, but the international transfer just arrived on April 28th. So that everything is ready to see Odair Pedro Da Silva Junior, universally known as
Pelè Junior wearing the "tricolor" shirt of
São Paulo/Suzano. Is the end of a six years life in Russia, winning everything with
Dinamo Moscow and turning (together with his team mate at Dinamo
Cirilo, and then followed by
Pula) into the first "naturalized" brazilian player of the Russian National team (at that time coached by
Oleg Ivanov).
No saudade, but...Surprisingly (or not!), the "saudade" matter does not appear in the Pelè reasons to come back, as reported in an interview published on UOL Esporte on line by
Renan Prates (full text:
click here). According to the mentioned report, the brazilian player had "some troubles" (started with the deny by the club to take part in the World Cup of Brazil 2008 to avoid new injuries) with Dinamo's president
Konstantin Eremenko and decided to leave the top Moscow side. Beeing not more in time, for the russian superlegue regulations, to move to another club in Russia,
Pelè Junior was therefore "forced" to come back in Brazil and has chosen São Paulo/Suzano as he's native of the Paulista city. But the brazilian craque's goal is to be soon back in European futsal and, hopefully, to be selected again by the new Russian national team coach
Sergey Skorovich. In the meanwhile Pelè will take part in the Liga Futsal as well as in the Paulista federation competitions.
