Futsal course for Filipinos

MANILA: Thirteen futsal enthusiasts took part in a Futsal Level One coaching course in the Philippines capital, as the Southeast Asian nation seek to boost the status of the shortened game in the country.

The course was held under the Vision Philippines banner with AFC course instructor Hossein Shams, of Iran, conducting the classes.

Philippines is one of the newer members of the Vision Asia family, having joined late last year.

The Philippines Football Federation is keen to raise the profile of football in the country and futsal is a key part of the sport’s overall development.
