The expected day is coming. Two weeks and we'll know if our fight to include futsal in the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara (Mexico) will have been winning or just the "usual" defeat vs the smart people who still consider futsal as a "ramification" (what?) of the boring soccer. ODEPA (Organización Deportiva Panamericana) will have to evaluate also different disciplines like Short Track (Speed Skating), Karate, Water ski, Bowling, Squash, Golf.

We have to remind that futsal was introduced in the Rio de Janeiro Pan American Games (2007) and will also be present in Medellin (Odesur Games 2010). Also, as the Pan American Games 2015 are likely to take place in Colombia, that would be a bigger chance for futsal to enter them. But... can't wait, we want futsal in Guadalajara!

Against all odds, against all institutions that... just don't care, against who accept to live in the shadow of soccer... futsal is the way!
