CHAMPS THAILAND IN GROUP A OF AFF FUTSAL MEET

BANGKOK (4 May 2009) – Defending champions Thailand have been placed in the tougher Group A of the AFF Futsal League 2009 which will kick-off on 8-14 June 2009 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietnam will be playing host for the first time ever and where they have designated the Phu Tho Stadium as the competition venue.

Joining Thailand in Goup A are Malaysia, Myanmar and Indonesia.

In Group B are the Philippines, Vietnam, and Brunei DS with Timor Leste taking part for the first time ever in the history of the competition.
