Waiting for the last act of the
Bosnian League 2008/2009 (the final mini-tournament will start on May 8th between Orlic, Ljubuski and Leotar Tviko Nekretnine Trebinje) the national holders of
Orlic Sarajevo conquered their first ever
Cup title after overcoming KMF Leotar Tviko Nekretnine Trebinje at the end of a thrilling final match.
Nijaz Mulahmetovic was the absolute hero of the game, scoring four goals and giving Orlic the Cup with the decisive 10m double penalty in the 40th minute. The Sarajevo side will now try to revalidate the past season league triumph, in the hope, this time, to experience a better adventure in Europe (as in the 07/08 UEFA Futsal Cup the bosnian club could not reach Münster (Germany) in time for the preliminary round and was therefore forced to a disappointing forfait).
