Before having a break in order to allow the local national team to face Iran in a double friendly match held in Bangkok during the past week-end, the Thai Futsal League 2009 experienced its 11th round, which definitely confirmed the extreme balance of this running season. Leader CAT Telecom (one of the three clubs that conquered the top since the tournament beginning, together with Chonburi Bluewave and I AM Sport) managed to keep their dominant role and have to thanks the thai international Lertchai Issarasuwipakorn, who emerged as match-winner just five minutes before the end. One more defeat, then, for the title holder Port Authority of Thailand, taking a disappointing seventh place in the season of their debut in the brand new AFC Futsal Club Championships. A late goal by Pitipong Taveeklang saved former leader I AM Sport from what would have been a more than surprising lost to the tail-end of the table Sriprathum University, which collected before just three points in ten matches.
Two more well-known players of the Pulpis' Thailand secured the Chonburi Blue Wave away win over Royal Thai Navy with a double each: we refer to Anucha Munjarern and Natapol Suttiroj.
