A futsal first, something quite crazy but true! We're talking about the surprising ending of the Dutch Futsal Cup 2008/2009 which have registered a final between the first team of Marlene, a well-known side in the dutch topdivisie as well as in european futsal, and their second selection which dominated the A group of the national eredivisie.

Having conquered their respective semifinals over TPP/SSD (FC Marlene, 5-1 home victory) and KW/J&M (FC Marlene 2, 6-5 away victory) the "brothers" had to experience an historical Cup final. Yesterday in the Amsterdam Sporthalen Zuid the first selection of the "blues" proved to be too strong for their opponents, getting a 7-2 triumph in a final that is anyway going to make history in worldwide futsal.
