Kepala Batas emerge Under-12 champions

Batas FC thumped Setara Junior FC 4-0 to clinch the Milo Hidup Bola Junior Futsal Carnival 09 (7th leg) Under-12 title at the Safira Sports Planet Seberang Perai Tengah, Penang last weekend.

Kepala Batas will represent Penang in the Grand Finals in July.

D'Futsal Centre from Perlis took the Under-16 title beating Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Gua Perahu, Penang 1-0 in a closely fought final. Both teams have gained berths in the Grand Finals.

The Milo Futsal Carnival will be held in each state (comprising 14 legs in all) every weekend until July 4 when 32 of the best teams from the Under-16 category and 16 teams from the Under-12 category will play in the Grand Finals on July 26 in Selangor.

The top four teams in both categories from all states and Grand Finals will win cash and prizes in the form of Milo products, commemorative Milo Hidup Bola balls and Figos jerseys.

The 8th leg will be held this Saturday at the Alam Mega Sports Centre in Lukut, Port Dickson.

Entry fee is RM40 per team.
