Pinocho 3. Ferro Carril Oeste 5. It could seems just a result taken from the Apertura 2009 tournament in Argentina, but there is something historical hidden behind the numbers. The oeste club has broken a series that seemed to be endless, as Pinocho was undefeated since 111 matches in AFA competitions. An impressive data for argentinean and worldwide futsal, that helped the club from Villa Urquiza to enter futsal legend as well as beeing crowned as Best Club of the World in the Futsalplanet Awards 2007 edition. The last Pinocho's lost was recorded on 28th April 2006, when Pinocho was defeated by San Lorenzo in the 6th round of the Apertura tournament. More than three years later Ferro Carril Oeste "finally" stopped the series, but no chance to deny Pinocho to get a golden place in futsal history. As a curious note have a look at the shirt, used for training sessions, that Pinocho is wearing since they've been awarded as Best Club of the World 2007!
