As reported yesterday by the KNVB web site Vic Hermans is the new national team coach of Malta. The highly experienced coach, as announced in the past week, didn't reach an agreement with the Dutch federation in order to extend his contract on the national team bench. Maltese FA immediately took the chance to have one of the most recognized trainers all around the world, closing in this way their experience with the Czech coach Michal Striz. Hermans will lead Netherlands in the international tournament in China and then move to Malta, starting his work there since August 1st.
