Chinese futsal team is currently camping in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province of China, headed by the brazilian coach Farinha. They are preparing for the China 4 nations international tournament to be held here from June 19-21. Japan, Holland and Iran will join the tournament for this year, as this is the third official international event held by CFA.

The tournament will take place in the Zhejjiang Huanglong Sports Center: the entrance fee will be 30/person.

After the tournament the chinese champion Wuhan Dilong futsal, which features 6 players in the national team, will move to Iran for the AFC first ever club championship. CFA has confirmed as well to join the third aisan indoor games in vietnam this year, and for the first time, China is sending a women's team to participate in the indoor games. Farinha's assistant coach, mr. Val, will be the head coach for the first women futsal selection.

Chinese Football Association has organised two international tournaments over the past 2 years. For the first time, the australian vikings futsal association along with the New-Zealandese one sent 2 two teams to Chengdu to play a 4 teams tournament in 2007. After that another international tournament was held in Guangzhou with Japan national team and Chinese Taipei involved. This tournament was sponsored by one of the japanese companies in China and registered the nippon title.

CFA has reached an agreement with the Hangzhou municipal government this year for a 5-year hosting rights of 4-nation futsal tournament. From this year therefore CFA hopes to invite more world futsal powerhouses to play in China.
