Nhan Dan Vietnam win silvers at SEA futsal championshipNhan Dan Online - Thailand successfully defended their championship title after having beaten hosts Vietnam 4-1 in the final of the Southeast Asian Futsal Championship, held at Phu Tho Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.
Two goals by Suphawut and Natee in the 9th minute and the 17th minute helped Thaland take the lead in the first half.
Natee again widened the gap for the guests 26 minutes after the break. Nattawut scored the fourth goal for Thailand in the 81st minute.
The only goal of Vietnam was scored by Ngo Anh Dung in the 83rd minute. The 1-4 score remained unchanged till the final whistle. Thailand once again topped the regional futsal championship.
Earlier, Indonesia defeated the Philippines 4-3 to snatch bronzes.
