Back from Spain, for one more adventure in Italy.
Diego Giustozzi is a new player of the first division side
Ponzio Pescara, rejoining the city where he lived before playing for Montesilvano. It's the end of the spanish experience for the argentinean great player, who preferred the Ponzio Pescara's proposal to other chances in Italy, including the title holder Alter Ego Luparense. This is the first step for Ponzio Pescara in order to avoid to repeat the same disappointing season just ended, in which the D'Angelantonio's club could keep their place in first division just after the winning play-out matches vs Torrino Sporting Club. More signings are on the horizon for the Pescara's side, soon to be announced.
Giustozzi began his brilliant career (beeing a constant member of the Argentinean National team) in Argentina with
Lugano and then with
River Plate, before starting his european new life with
Firenze, Pescara, BNL Roma and Cittą di Montesilvano (former Pescara). After that, the first spanish trip in order to play with
Lobelle de Santiago, then back in Italy with
Nepi and again in Spain with
Caja Segovia. The future is
Ponzio Pescara.
