According to our informations
Serbia won't take part in the international tournament
Grand Prix 2009 in Brazil (swine flu concerns as reported by the local FA).
CBFS has not yet announced which nation could replace the serbian side but a good chance is supposed to be in the
Mexican FA hands.
As communicated by our collaborator Fernando Perez Chavez (Futsal Mexicano Portal),
Enrique Romero, Conmebol futsal secretary, has been in talks with the mexican head coach
Ramon Raya in order to evaluate the eventual presence of Mexico in the imminent Grand Prix. The local national team is not even training at present time, as coach Raya is involved in the beach soccer CONCACAF qualifying round. As soon as CBFS will choose the serbian substitute, we'll be back to you.
