Tournament sign-ups are due January 14th for the largest Futsal
tournament in North America - The Midwest Futsal Championships. The
tournament will be held February 16-18th (President's Day weekend).
The tournament is held in Johnson County, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas
City. Winners of our competitive divisions will automatically qualify
for the United States Futsal Championships held in Las Vegas, June 6-
9th. We will have a total of 13 Futsal courts this year. This large
concentration of futsal courts will allow us to accomodate up to 240
teams. Every team that enters will have a three game guarantee.
Semi-finals and Finals will be played in most brackets. Every
participant will receive a free t-shirt. The cost of the tournament
is $275.

The Midwest Futsal Championships is hosted by the Kansas City Futsal
Club, Inc. A non-profit entity formed to promote the sport of
Futsal. This year we have 250 teams (up from 140 teams the previous
winter) playing in our winter indoor league. Last year, the
tournament had over 100 participants from throughout the Midwest
representing some of the strongest Clubs in the United States. We
will have the following age divisions (boys and girls- competitive
and less competitive) participating:

U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U19, Mens Open and Men
Over 30.

The tournament is expecting a growth rate commensurate with our
league growth.
