Piranha devour Scorpions

PIRANHA FC lived up to their name when they brushed aside the challenge of Scorpions FC to clinch the Kelantan leg of the Milo Hidup Bola Junior Futsal Carnival on Saturday.

Piranha, a Terengganu-based football academy, were ruthless in the 4-0 win over their Kelantan-based opponents.

Both teams have qualified for next month's Grand Finals.

In the Under-12 final at the KB Futsal Centre, Setara FC beat Klinik Pergigian Famili Football Club 2-1 to gain the sole berth to represent Kelantan in the Under-12 Grand Final.

The Under-16 and Under-12 grand champions will win savings account bank book vouchers of RM20,000 and RM10,000 respectively.

The 11th leg of the 14-leg carnival is on Saturday at the Soccer Extreme Futsal Centre in Larkin, Johor Baru. Entry fee is RM40 per team and forms can be downloaded from www.milo.com.my or www.syoknyasukan.com.
