Futsal played in Lincoln each Saturday

The Lincoln Police Athletic League’s Futsal League continued with Saturday’s action at the Lincoln Recreation Center.

Futsal, similar to soccer, is played indoors. It is played between two teams of five players.

Saturday was the second week of Futsal matches at the Lincoln Recreation Center.

Matches will continue on Saturday’s throughout the summer and the public is encouraged to check out some Futsal.

Los Patos scored 14 goals in a blowout victory over the Cougars on Saturday while Arsenal defeated F.C. United 10-6.

The same four teams participated in the first week of action on the previous Saturday.

Cheering spectators encouraged the athletes (ages 11-to-14) during both matches. Los Patos defeated the F.C. United 14-7 and Arsenal beat the Cougars 13-9.
