IBSADRAW FOR IBSA BLIND FUTSAL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2009 IN FRANCEThe draw has been made for the 2009 IBSA Blind Futsal European Championships in Nantes, France. The championships are in both the B1 (totally blind) and B2/B3 (partially sighted) category and will kick off on Sunday June 28th at 3pm with the opening ceremony.
The event runs from June 28th until July 4th and is organised by Cecifoot, the Football Committee of the French Federation Handisport, and Don Bosco Batignolles. Matches will be played at the Michel Lecointre Stadium and Beaulieu Sports Hall.

IBSA Futsal Subcommittee chairman Carlos Campos said after the draw: “The facilities we will be using at the European championships are excellent. In addition, the event has the full support of the local authorities in Nantes and the general public is looking forward to the action starting.”
“Handisport, through Cecifoot, is doing a great job with the preparations and will organise outstanding European championships in both B1 and B2/B3”, he added.
