Laurent Morel was in Cyprus this week to inspect the
Eleftheria Sports Complex for the upcoming preliminary group of the UEFA Futsal Cup which cypriot champions
Omonoia Nicosia will be hosting for the first time in August.
Morel’s short visit to the beautiful island was very satisfactory since the positive inspection of the appointed stadium and the following meeting with many futsal people from the country, discussing and sharing point of views and ideas about the sport in general.
Despite his multi-task duties, including the UEFA Euro 2010 in Hungary, Morel have committed to make a trip back to Cyprus so that he can better evaluate futsal perspective in the country and give advices on how to develop it.
