Angolan national indoor football team leave for Brazil

Luanda – The Angolan national senior males five- a-side football team left this Thursday morning for Brazil to participate in the 5th edition of Brazil’s Grand Prix, to be played from 28 June to 5 July in the cities of Goiania and Anapolis.

The delegation, which is led by the chairman of the Angolan Futsal Federation (FAFUSA), Luís Mourão, is integrated by 17 people, of which 12 are players.

The Angolan squad will stop over in Lisbon, where they will join the coach, the Portuguese João Cunha, and the player Mauro Pacheco.

In Brazil, the Angolan national team will be based in Anapolis in group C with Peru, Guatemala and Hungary.

The Angolan squad will also participate in the second Games of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP) to happen from 11 to 19 July in the cities of Lisbon and Setubal in Portugal.
