Last minute changes in the canarinhos selection for the imminent international tournament Grand Prix 2009, 5th edition of the impressive brazilian event. Local national team head coach Pipoca had to replace two missing players with refer to the original roster announced: both Inter Movistar's stars Marquinho (injured in the LNFS finals) and Schumacher (personal matters) were forced to renounce to take part in the competition. Due to this reason Marcos Sorato "Pipoca" called on the Cortiana/UCS/AFF flank Valdin as well as another "madrilenian" player, Neto.
