Stylo Mylo Blues win 11th leg

STYLO Mylo Blues beat Sri Remaja Jr FC 1-0 to win the 11th leg of Milo Hidup Bola Junior Futsal Carnival (MHBJFC) at the Sports Planet, Malacca over the weekend.

RG Junior FC took the Under-16 title with a 2-1 win over RSP FC. Both teams gained berths to the Grand Finals.

This carnival is held in every state in Malaysia every weekend until this Saturday.

The Grand Finals, comprising 32 of the best teams from Under-16 category and 16 teams from the Under-12 category from all 14 legs, will be played on July 26 in Selangor.

The top four teams from both categories in all states and the Grand Finals will win cash and prizes in the form of Milo products, commemorative Milo Hidup Bola balls and Figos jerseys.

Ng Ping Loong, the sports marketing manager of Milo, said: "We are very happy with the great response to this year's carnival. We are also encouraged that the Department of Rakan Muda in the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Malaysian School Sports Council (MSSM) has endorsed our event with MSSM indicating its keen interest to talent spot children with sporting potential."

The penultimate leg will be held this Saturday at the Sports Planet, Alor Star Kedah.

Entry fee is RM40 per team and teams will receive souvenir Milo T-shirts. Entry forms are available at all 14 participating futsal centres or visit www.milo.com.my or www.syoknyasukan.com.
