FT Spark sparkle in shoot-out

FT Spark FC lived up to their name as they found new life in the penalty shoot-out to edge Akademi Bandar Seri Alam FC in the Johor leg of the Milo Hidup Bola Futsal Carnival at the Soccer Extreme Futsal Centre on Monday.

The final ended 2-2 but FT Spark, who are from Johor, proved to be deadlier from the penalty spot.

Both teams qualified for the Grand Finals on July 26.

Bertam Ulu Kids also sealed their place in the Grand Finals when they whipped Suria FC 4-0 in the Under-12 final.

The Under-12 and Under-16 Grand Finals champions will win RM10,000 and RM20,000 respectively in savings account vouchers.

There will be cash prizes for the second to fourth placed teams in the Grand Finals as well.

The penultimate leg of the carnival will be at the Sports Planet in Alor Star tomorrow.
