Build up underway for Umbro International Futsal Cup 2009, Manchester UK

Futsal clubs, players and supporters will arrive in Manchester between August 28-30th for what will be the UK’s largest international futsal cup competition. The Umbro International Futsal Cup returns for its second year with a tournament that promises to be bigger and better than ever. Organisers Manchester Futsal Club have been working hard to ensure more international teams will be competing at this year’s tournament and they have not been disappointed with the response.

‘The enquiries this year have exceeded our expectations considering this is only our second year. We can definitely expect a very competitive tournament with some real talent on display. The inclusion of several international clubs will give the English clubs the opportunity to test themselves against established futsal nations which is a fantastic prospect’ explained Tournament Director Simon Wright.
