Kirin make worthwhile trip to Alor Star

KIRIN FC, a football academy from Perlis, made a worthwhile journey to the Kedah leg of the Milo Hidup Bola Junior Futsal Carnival when they edged Guar Perahu FC 1-0 to win the Under-16 category at the Sports Planet in Alor Star on Saturday.

Both teams qualified for the July 26 Grand Final, where the main prize is RM20,000 worth of savings account vouchers.

Tu Excelllent A Football Academy placed themselves in the running for RM10,000 in savings vouchers when they clinched the Under-12 title by beating BM FC in the final.

A total 63 teams competed in the Under-16 and 34 in the Under-12 in Alor Star, the penultimate leg before the Grand Finals.

The final leg is on Saturday at the Sports Planet in Ampang and the last chance for teams to qualify for the Grand Finals.
