The second croatian experience. The slovenian outstanding talent
Milivoje Simeunovic, after conquering two titles in the golden era of
Gospic, is ready to move again from his native country to the neighbours one. But this time with a different side, as
"Mile" will wear the shirt of the brand new national champions
Potpican 98, absolute underdog of the recent play-off series in Croatia, able to feature prestigious victims like
Brodosplit Inženjering Split and
Mnk Nacional Zagreb (both of them now ready to restart with foreign coaches, good chances for the italian
Piero Gialli in Split, everything fixed for the portuguese
Tiago Polido in Zagreb, and asking for a new league formula which should only include the regular season, discussions are in progress).
Simeunovic will then leave his current club
Svea Lesna Litija in order to face the
UEFA Futsal Cup 2009/2010 with Potpican 98, a new step ahead in the brilliant career of the slovenian star, which began in Ljubljana with
Vuko and then was followed by the italian adventures with
Bologna and
Firenze, six seasons in Russia with
Norilsky Nickel, then back in Slovenia with
Gip Beton MTO. After the winning years with
Gospic, Simeunovic came back again at "home", wearing the shirts of
KMN Bautim and
Svea Lesna Litija.
