DCFA Corinthians second

Youth Futsal: The DCFA Corinthians, an under-15 boys team, captured second place in the 2009 U.S. National Futsal Championship on Sunday. The team is made up of nine players from Maryland high schools who play on various outdoor club soccer teams at the regional and academy levels. Each year they come together for a season of Futsal, which is a soccer game played on a hard surface using a smaller ball with less bounce than a regulation soccer ball. There are five players, including a goalie, playing the field at a time.
