Trio in title battle

AN EQUALISER in the last two seconds for Highworth Town against Core Soccer B will take the under 13s North Wilts Youth @Futsal Junior League right to the wire.

A hat-trick by Frazier Evans ensured any one of the top three clubs can still win the division.

Wootton Bassett are in pole position after a fine 3-0 victory over Shaw, while Wickham Oxford thrashed Purton Whites 10-2.

Chippenham Futsal beat Purton Reds in a 4-3 thriller, while Core Soccer A crushed Penhill Knights 20-1, goals coming from a Sam Little (6), Ben Spong (5), Adam Gerrard (4 )and Liam Sunderland (3).

Chelworth Juniors control the under 12s section following their 11-1 win over Blunsdon Colts, making it seven wins out of seven for the leaders.

Second-placed Wootton Bassett Spaniels kept the pressure on with a 8-2 victory over Shaw Cougars, while a five-goal haul from Ben Sadi ensured Kingsdown came out 11-6 winners over Greenmeadow B.

It was business as usual for Greyhound Pups in the under 11s section as they defeated stubborn Gorse Hill Rangers 5-0. FC Abbeymeads lie second after a 6-3 victory over Shaw, who drop to third.

The under nines section was turned on its head after Purton edged Core Soccer B 9-7, the latter then beating leaders Coleview 10-2.
