Kurukuru thank God

THE Kurukuru team members and parents took part in a Thanksgiving Service last Saturday night at Chung Wah School.

The service was to honor and give thanks to God for their sweet victory in the Oceania Football Confederation Futsal Championship in Fiji recently.

“We want to give back glory and honor to the Almighty. It is appropriate that a Thanksgiving Service is organised because without God we cannot do anything,’’ said Captain Elliot Ragomo.

He said he was happy and wants to acknowledge the Futsal parent for organising the service.

Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) President Martin Alufurai added, “Without God we can do anything”.
He said the victory is a win with humility that we must not forget to give the honor back to God.

He acknowledged the churches, parents and leaders for their support.
