Draws for 2010 AFC Futsal Championship announced

Vietnam is groupped with Malaysia, Cambodia and the Philippines after the draw for the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) 2010 Futsal Championship qualifiers.

According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the qualifiers for Southeast Asian Nations will be played in Jakarta in Indonesia, from February 13-18, 2010.

Sports commentators say that with this draw, it will not be too difficult for Vietnam to reach the finals, which will take place next year in Uzbekistan.

Twenty-six international teams will fight it out for the 12 available places in the finals, according to the VFF.(VNA)
