Looking for the third title in a row. This is the aim of the debutant Vander Iacovino on the Brazilian Women National team bench. The former legendary brazilian player will take in charge the heavy legacy left by both winning former coaches Maria Cristina de Oliveira (who conquered the first ever edition with her girls in Barueri, Brazil: click here to know more) and Pipoca (winning the Guayaquil, Ecuadorian city, second edition: click here for more details). The third continental competition will take place in Brazil, in the paulista town of Campinas, since next September 3rd to 7th, with the sure presence of eight nations (Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile and host Brazil), while Conmebol is waiting for an answer from Colombia (finalist in 2007) and Bolivia. The main group of the 2007 winning experience has been confirmed by new appointed coach Vander Iacovino, who has selected 10 athletes already involved in the Ecuadorian triumph (we have to point out that the former coach Pipoca will anyway be present as Iacovino's assistant in Campinas), with just four new entries: both goalkeepers Jozi and Giga Paraná, as well as the fixas Valéria and Taty. Below have a look at the Vander Iacovino's roster.
