Rovers recorded their record victory as a futsal team with a demolition job on bottom of the table North County Dublin in the Emerald Futsal League (Leinster) on Saturday.

With captain Anderson Nunes bagging a hat-trick and new Brazilian signings Hiago Frietas (two) and Ronaldo Grube (three) also getting amongst the goals, it was a facile win for the Hoops.

North County Dublin are a very young inexperienced side and the quality of the Hoops play was too much for them, although their impressive teenage talent David Cross did pull one back for his side.

Richard Maher also bagged his first goal for the Hoops.

Rovers face a much tougher test against St Patrick's Athletic next Saturday at the BRL Umbro Arena in Ballymun (2.20pm) in a game that could seal the Hoops' place in the last four play-offs.
