First title of the year in Slovenia (though, as happens in some countries, the "august/september" supercup belongs to the 08/09 season). The national league holder Puntar Casino Safir Tolmin emerged again victorious from the Super Cup challenge played against their traditional rivals KMN Gorica. After the thrilling play-off finals series, which saw Puntar Casino claiming the title just at the end of the fifth game, once again the Matej Kavcic guys conquered game and title thanks to two first half goals by Melink and Rosic (at the end of a wonderful action and assist by Melink, see the video of the goal to enjoy it!), with just one reply for Gorica by Lazarevic. After celebrating this new triumph, the Tolmin side can now focus on the imminent UEFA Futsal Cup challenge: Puntar will host the group 4, which also features Benfica, Viten Orsha and Montenegro Stars.
