After a more than positive pre-season, Cip Deva began its season with the right foot, waiting for the european mini-tournament with Iberia 2003, Marlene and Erebuni to be hosted in the romanian town. On past monday the Sito Rivera's players conquered in Cluj the Romanian Super Cup 2009/2010 by defeating the portuguese troop wearing the City'us Targu Mures shirt. Not an easy task for Robert Lupu and mates, as the David Goncalves team managed to recover to a 3-0 and 4-1 scores until reaching the 4-4 tie. Finally, the spanish brand new signing Jordi Illa and the international romanian player Cosmin Gherman gave Deva the expected title.
